Geothermal Power Plants

Lesson

CHAIN GEARS

In this lesson we will look at the design of geothermal power plants. Geothermal energy is thermal energy coming from the Earth. It is environmentally friendly and durable. Geothermal energy resources range from shallow to hot water and hot rocks a few kilometers below the earth’s surface and even deeper, to the extremely high temperatures of molten rocks called magma.

They use the energy of groundwater. The device of a geothermal power plant is visualized.
