In this lesson we will look at the Technical Means of Density Measurement and their application. In most cases, production fluids are aqueous solutions of solid, liquid or gaseous substances. Their density is measured in order to determine the concentration of the solute, ie. its percentage.
Density is the quantity of a substance contained in a unit volume: ρ = m / V, where m is the mass of the substance, [kg]; V is the volume occupied by the substance, [m3]. Refer to the library for more information on density sensors
