In this lesson we will look at the technical means for measuring temperature. Temperature is a quantity that determines the degree of heating of substances and bodies. There are different types of temperature sensors. The operation of a thermocouple is visualized.
It consists of two disparate conductors, called thermoelectrodes, welded at a common point – a hot spot. It is customary to call the welded edges warm and the free ends cold (non-working). For more information on temperature sensors, refer to the library.
