Nuclear Power Plants

Lesson

CHAIN GEARS

In this lesson, we will look at the design of nuclear power plants. NPP converts chemical energy into heat and then into electricity. Here, the steam generator, as a place to burn energy, is replaced by a nuclear reactor, in which the fission of atomic nuclei into some chemical elements –

uranium 233, uranium 235 and plutonium, releases a significant amount of heat used to produce steam. . The device of a nuclear power plant is visualized.
