In this tutorial we will look at hydraulic filters. The hydraulic filter is a component of the hydraulic system. It maintains the purity of the fluid in the permitted levels to protect the elements from premature wear. Filtration must be sufficiently precise, with efficiency monitored by a contamination indicator. 

There are different types of filters depending on the type of filtering agent: ceramic, metal mesh, fiberglass, magnet, cellulose and others.
